06 - ¼ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
07 - 2 tablespoons toasted sesame seeds
→ Optional Garnishes
08 - 1 tablespoon crushed wasabi peas
09 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped green onion
# Directions:
01 - Preheat oven to 285°F. Line a large baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, whisk together sesame oil, tamari, maple syrup, sea salt, and chili flakes.
03 - Place one sheet of nori shiny side down on the parchment. Lightly brush with the seasoning mixture.
04 - Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds evenly over the seasoned nori sheet.
05 - Repeat layering by placing another sheet on top, brushing with seasoning, and continuing until all sheets are stacked, finishing with a seasoned top layer.
06 - Using a sharp knife or kitchen scissors, cut the stacked nori into strips or squares suitable for snacking.
07 - Spread the cut pieces evenly on the prepared baking tray to ensure uniform crisping.
08 - Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, monitoring carefully to prevent burning.
09 - Remove from oven and let cool completely; the pieces will crisp as they cool.
10 - Optionally garnish with crushed wasabi peas and chopped green onion before serving or store in an airtight container.
