  • Dough: 1 ball (250 g) pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • Sauce: 150 g (about 2/3 cup) crème fraîche, 1 clove garlic (minced), 1 tsp fresh dill (finely chopped), ½ tsp lemon zest, Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Toppings: 200 g (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese, 80 g (about 1/2 cup) sliced dill pickles, 1 tbsp red onion (thinly sliced, optional), 1 tbsp fresh dill (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat oven:
Preheat oven to 250°C (480°F) or as high as it will go. If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven while preheating.
Shape dough:
On a lightly floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough to a 30 cm (12-inch) round. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet or pizza peel.
Make sauce:
In a small bowl, mix crème fraîche, minced garlic, chopped dill, lemon zest, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Assemble pizza:
Spread the crème fraîche sauce evenly over the pizza base, leaving a 1 cm (½-inch) border.
Add cheese:
Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly on top of the sauce.
Add toppings:

Bake:
